How to Rotate iPhone Video?

Have you encountered such issue: capturing tons of videos with iPhone, but only to find that some of them are sideways and some upside down when you watch them on PC or Mac? Let's see two examples.

Every once in a while I forget to turn my iPhone 4 sideways when taking video and use it in the vertical position. The result of the video is skewed on its side in iTunes. I've searched high and low for a "rotate 90° right" option to no avail.

First download and install iMovie for iOS on your iPhone, and then follow the guides below to rotate your iPhone videos.

Step 1 Open the App and scroll the timeline until the video you are desire to rotate is showing in the viewer.

Step 2 Next, move your finger and thumb in a clockwise or counterclockwise twisting motion over the video image in the viewer.

The white arrow appearing means the video clip has been rotated 90 degrees. It may take a moment for the clip to appear rotated in the viewer.

Repeat this motion as many times as necessary to achieve the orientation you want.
